SUFC 0 Gillingham 1

A wad of Prawntroopers braved the driving rain to watch the Mighty Shrimpers play a bunch of Kents. Nick Prawnby, Prawn Connery, Fish Walsh, Jerri Connery, and Wendy Prawniwell saw Harry Kipper back after 15 months out, and a debut for Harry Seadon in goal. The delicious Gills manager Mr Evans delighted the East Stand yet again.

First half and the lads are well up for it again, spoiling  the Gills and restricting them to zero shots on target. Macca has long range freekicks, Elvis has a shot saved. Halfo 0-0.

Second half and same again but Gills get a rocket up their gills from the lovely Mr Evans after Chaz Kelman has a shot saved, and they score from a near post header on 67 mins, same story from the Blues, can’t hold out in the second half. But Rush has a great chance late on but shoots wide. Hard luck on the Blue lads, another 100% effort.
