SUFC 1 CREWE 1

With Prawn Connery and the Prawniwells celebrating Marti Prawniwells birthday in the Blues Lounge, hopefully they’ll be celebrating victory against the Alex. Fish Walsh and Tom Crabstick also in the East Stand, COYB. Whitey not in the side, O’Neil out, Thommo in. Digger in, Payney out. Moons in for Hunty. Fish says 0-1, Tom says 2-1 Blues, as does Nick Prawnby.

Motley Crewe under the lights

First Half and scrappy start, great save from Bentley keeps it 0-0, more scrappy play. Then Barney plays in Moons who’s fouled and PENALTY! Who’s gonna take it? Barney grabs the ball – SAVED! Two pens in a row missed. Digger shoots just wide. Struggling against lower team again, no energy and Crewe midfield running the show. Need to play our own game at home says Jerri. Halftime and one shot on target for Blues.

Halftime and Prawn says penalty miss sums up the negativity, we lack fire and creativity. Better attitude required in second half.

Second half and better from Blues. 58 mins and on comes Loza and Wozza for Moons and Mcqueen, more pace required. The Poet booked, Loza fouled, dangerous freekick for Blues, Wozza shot just wide. Blues huff and puff, 3 bookings over freekick for Crewe, 85 mins GOAL for Crewe, SuperCooper from freekick, 0-1 Fish Walsh right again! Blues sticking it to Col Ewe! But Loza gets clattered in box, PENALTY! It’s Payney to SCORE 1-1!

Fulltime 1-1, shocking game but Blues didn’t lose.
